Mustache Tattoo

Mustache Tattoo
The taking of pelham 123 is a slick, reimagining of the 1974 authentic that's filled to the brim with suspense, action and the one factor that is lacking from many giant price range spectacles, good old-fashioned personality development. Director tony scott has crafted a pressure crammed thriller with each john travolta and denzel washington sharing a chemistry that propels the film to its rocketing conclusion.

scott wastes no time on set up; travolta hijacks the teach earlier than the beginning credits are accomplished rolling and the movie proceeds at a breathless tempo except the pleasing conclusion. The plot goes basically like this; travolta's ryder (his alias) hijacks the pelham 123 at 2:13 pm and demands a ransom of $10 million bucks be brought to hellom within an hour or else he's going to start killing off hostages. Ryder refuses to talk with the police and washington as train dispatcher walter garber is forced to function negotiator. Scott keeps the film at excessive suspense and conveys a kinetic feel to the motion sequences and chase scenes with a function to maintain your eyes glued to the reveal. Author brian helgeland absolute best identified for l.a. Personal, has written an intelligent script with nice speak, that is fast paced and exciting all of the whereas developing the characters approach beyond what could've been the stereotypical psycho versus the reluctant hero.

denzel washington is incredible as everyman walter garber bringing gravity and a quiet dignity to his performance, preserveing walter grounded in reality, by no means once allowing the character to slip into clichéd action hero mode. Garber is the guts and soul of the film and you are going to find your self pulling for hellom from the very first time washington opens his mouth to the very closing scene of the movie. Washington is an incredible actor on the top of hellos craft and i don't see that changing each time soon.
